We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. That’s why we have a cancellation policy. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you with a member of Flutura Healimg. Missed appointments are costly in lost time and revenue, and it prevents the Flutura Healing team from providing services to other clients. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, of Flutura Healing, the following cancellation policies are honored:
24 Hour Notice
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the 1/2 the amount of your appointment. If further sessions are missed then full price for all of the others will be charged.
This amount will be billed to you and must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. Cancelling of an appointment in less than 24 hours or failure to attend a scheduled appointment with the intent on redeeming a gift certificate will result in the forfeiting of that certificate.
Insurance Cancellation Policy
Cancellations with less than 24 hours advance notice or a no-show is NOT covered by insurance, Medicare, workers compensation, etc. A $40 fee will be charged and you will be responsible for the payment. This fee must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with Flutura Healing for whatever reason, will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for their “missed” appointment. This amount will be billed to you and must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Changing Appointment on Same Day of Appointment
Recognizing that we do set aside the scheduled time just for you, we have other clients to consider and have to maintain a smoothly running business, we do find it necessary to charge for appointments that are repetitively changed on the day of the scheduled appointment. This fee is $40.00.
If you are not ready or not available for your massage upon arrival of the therapist, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly, be ready and on time.
Exceptions to Cancellation Policy
We do understand emergencies and illnesses do occur. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or it begins a couple of hours prior to your scheduled session, or your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there is an inclement weather, please do not drive or walk if you do not have to. Feel free to call and reschedule your appointment. We will evaluate the situation and may lift any charges depending on the circumstances.
Three Cancellations/ No-Shows
If you miss three appointments with less than 24 hour advanced notice / no-show this will result in discontinuation of your therapy. If this is the case and it is applicable a letter will be sent to your referring provider or case manager, notifying them of the reason you were discharged.
Full payment is expected before or after treatment. All clients, whether they have received treatment or booked an appointment are bound by this policy without any prejudice or exemption.
Flutura Healing, it’s owner, a third party collection vendor, or legal counsel acting on behalf of Flutura Healing shall have full legal right to collect any unpaid balance for services rendered and any associated fees incurred due to non-payment of services.
